Dennis Black joins GMDN Agency Board of Trustees

The Global Medical Device Nomenclature
(GMDN) Agency has welcomed Dennis Black as a member of the Agency’s Board of
Trustees.
Dennis Black is UDI Program Director at
BD which is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the
world.
Dennis has over 30 years of experience
in the medical device industry and has worked in a variety of roles and
functions.
Dennis Black, Board
Member at the GMDN Agency, said: “I’m looking forward to meeting with
the GMDN Agency team and Board and getting to work on supporting the GMDN
Agency in its goals and aims.
“I currently collaborate closely with various
industry participants in organizations such as AdvaMed, MedTech Europe and GS1 to
solve a variety of UDI related challenges.
So, I have strong industry relationships across the stakeholders of the
GMDN Agency as well as an understanding of the challenges that the Agency and
the industry face.”

our strategy moving forward.”
